Pineapple Pete and Wasabi Charlie — Simpson Bay's Entertainment Destination
Some restaurants are just restaurants. Pineapple Pete is not that. Located on the main road in Simpson Bay, a few minutes from the major hotels and eight minutes from Marigot, it has become one of the most reliably entertaining evenings on the Dutch side — for visitors and locals alike.
"Open six days a week, closed Tuesdays. Kitchen from 11am through at least 10pm." The menu covers serious ground: house specialties include Herb Crusted Rack of Lamb, Lobster Thermidor, Crab Stuffed Shrimp, Seafood Gratinée, and Surf 'N' Turf. Adjacent to the main restaurant, Wasabi Charlie adds Japanese dishes with a Caribbean twist — sushi and Asian-inspired plates for those who want something different. There is also a children's menu.
Beyond the Dining Room
Pete's Game Room sits next door — three pool tables, dart boards, arcade games, and a well-stocked bar. It is a genuine local hangout, not a tourist afterthought. If you arrive early or are waiting for a table, the game room passes the time pleasantly.
Pete's Corner Shop and Collectibles rounds out the complex: t-shirts, hats, handcrafted jewelry, local rum, spices, hand-painted glasses, and souvenirs. The kind of shop where you find things that are actually worth bringing home.
Live Music Nightly
