Orient Beach - St Martin's Flagship Beach
Orient Beach is St. Martin's flagship beach and is often referred to as the "French Riviera of the Caribbean" — and for good reason. This stunning two-kilometre stretch of white sand on the French side of the island offers calm turquoise waters, a sophisticated beach culture, and a relaxed atmosphere that has made it internationally famous.

The beach is lined with upscale beach bars and restaurants serving everything from fresh lobster and chilled rosé to reasonably priced Creole dishes and frozen cocktails. Whether you're looking for a glamorous day bed experience or a simple plate of grilled fish under a palm umbrella, Orient Beach delivers both without pretension.
Here you're invited to rid yourself of those tell-tale tan lines. On the southern end of Orient Beach you'll find the clothing-optional section where you can swim and sunbathe unencumbered in your birthday suit. The naturist tradition here is long-established, relaxed, and completely accepted — first-timers quickly discover there's nothing to be nervous about.

Even though the naturist resort Club Orient was destroyed by Hurricane Irma and reconstruction will take a few years, one famous institution has reopened: Perch Bar Lite keeps the spirit of Club Orient alive with great frozen drinks, lounge chairs and umbrellas. Safe parking is available on the Club O premises. Don't be discouraged by remaining resort debris — the beach itself is as beautiful as ever.
Beyond the beach, Orient Village is just steps away — a charming collection of restaurants, bars, boutiques and shops that gives Orient Beach a complete destination feel. A beach day here easily becomes a full day out.
Getting here by cruise ship is straightforward — taxis are readily available at the cruise ship pier and the 20-minute drive to Orient Beach is on a fixed rate. Confirm the precise cost with your driver before departing.
